ABOUT DENNIS

Dennis Henneke was an exceptional man! Dennis had a zest for life that was truly unique and inspiring. He loved life and he loved people! Everyone who knew him could easily see his outgoing, energetic, live life to the fullest nature. Dennis’ departure was sudden and unexpected, but his adventures and relationships with people he loved and who loved him could fill volumes. 

You will notice in most of the photos of Dennis, he is wearing a James Avery cross pendant. This pendant is very special and dear to our hearts at the Dennis Henneke Foundation. For the last 5 years of Dennis’ life he wore the Fear Not pendant. This pendant was given to him by one of his best friends who had cancer. Dennis would take off from work to be with him during his treatments. To thank Dennis for being there for him, he gave Dennis the Fear Not pendant. From that day on, Dennis never took off the pendant. When Dennis was killed on April 12, 2016, his friend also gave Dennis’ brother a pendant. Like Dennis, he wears it every day and has never taken it off. All of Dennis’ close friends now also wear the pendant in memory of Dennis.
